A method for examining Norway spruce (Picea abies Karst.) for susceptibility and resistance to spread of Fomes annosus (Fr.) Cooke

, : A method for examining Norway spruce (Picea abies Karst.) for susceptibility and resistance to spread of Fomes annosus (Fr.) Cooke. European Journal of Forest Pathology 4(3): 182-187

A simple method is described for determining the effects of infection by F. annosus (Heterobasidion annosum). By using clonal plants the importance of environmental factors on virulence of different fungal strains can be studied.
