The Census II, X-II Variant Seasonal Factor Method was programmed for the RCA Spectra 70 Computer and used to deseasonalize the time series selected to represent market price and industry supply. This not only quantified monthly seasonal factors, but also permitted examination of cyclical price-supply relationships between 1964 and 1971 in which two distinct cycles have occurred.
