Abnormal stomatal behaviour and hormonal imbalance in flacca, a wilty mutant of tomato

, : Abnormal stomatal behaviour and hormonal imbalance in flacca, a wilty mutant of tomato. Journal of Experimental Botany 25(84): 51-60

The wilty tomato mutant flacca and the normal Rheinlands Ruhm were compared in terms of: (1) K transport into and out of the guard cells, (2) cell wall properties which include protein, hydroxyproline and peroxidase activity, and (3) activity of indol-3yl-acetic acid oxidase.

We have previously shown that nerve inflammation (neuritis) and transient vinblastine application lead to axonal mechanical sensitivity in nociceptors innervating deep structures. We also have shown that these treatments reduce axonal transport an...

The human genome contains ∼30,000 CpG islands (CGIs).
