Abnormalities of in vitro lymphocyte responses during bovine viral diarrhea virus infection

, : Abnormalities of in vitro lymphocyte responses during bovine viral diarrhea virus infection. American Journal of Veterinary Research 34(6): 753-755

The usual profilerative response induced by the addition of phytohaemagglutinin (PHA) to normal bovine lymphocytes cultured in medium containing bovine foetal serum was depressed by the addition of bovine viral diarrhoea virus. The inhibitory effect appears to be related to the viability of the virus.
