Abomasum contractions and the motility of the reticulum and rumen


, : Abomasum contractions and the motility of the reticulum and rumen. Acta Physiologica Polonica 24(4): 603-609

In 5 sheep fed or starved for 20 to 24 h the contractions of the rumen, reticulum and abomasum were recorded by means of balloons. Movements of the abomasum were found to be unrelated to the movements of the reticulum and rumen.
