Absorption and distribution of thiophanate, effective fungicide for tobacco powdery mildew, in tobacco plant

, : Absorption and distribution of thiophanate, effective fungicide for tobacco powdery mildew, in tobacco plant. Bulletin of the Hatano Tobacco Experimental Station 71: 149-152

Absorption of 14C thiophanate-ethyl and -methyl through the roots was rapid and translocation occurred throughout the plant within 1 day. When the chemicals were applied to the leaf surface they failed to translocate to untreated parts of the plant.
