Absorption and movement of 14C-labelled MH and 2,4-D in onions

, : Absorption and movement of 14C-labelled MH and 2,4-D in onions. HortScience 9(3, Section 2): 50

Absorption and movement of 14C-labelled MH and 2,4-D were studied in seedlings and mature plants of onion in the presence or absence of applied N. Plants absorbed more 2,4-D than MH, though the latter showed better distribution. The addition of N to the treatment solution decreased the absorption of MH by the plants but increased that of 2,4-D.
