, : Absorptive capacity of the digestive tract in lambs treated with selenium dioxide.. Veterinarnomeditsinski Nauki, Sofia 9(7): 49-52

Six lambs aged 20 days were given 1 mg selenium dioxide (as a 0.1% aqueous solution) once daily for 30 days. At 50 days of age these lambs, and the untreated controls, were dosed with P-32 or Ca-45 at 10 mu Ci/kg. Absorption of the isotopes was assessed by tests on jugular blood 1-27 hours after administration, and by the Se content in liver, kidney, spleen and muscle at the 24th hour.
