Acceleration of vernalization in wheat by 2-chloroethylphosphonic acid-released ethylene

, : Acceleration of vernalization in wheat by 2-chloroethylphosphonic acid-released ethylene. Acta Agronomica Academiae Scientiarum Hungaricae 22(1/2): 27-29

Seeds of winter wheat were germinated at 22 deg C in distilled water or in a solution of ethephon at 50, 200 or 500 ppm and after 24 h were transferred to a refrigerator where they were kept for 40 days at 2 deg.
