Acceptance of programme planning for extension in N.S.W

, : Acceptance of programme planning for extension in N.S.W. Melbourne Notes on Agricultural Extension (10): 69-81

Programming planning became compulsory for extension officers in the N.S.W. Department of Agriculture in 1968. In late 1971, extension officers, regional directors of extension and head office specialists were interviewed to assess their acceptance of programme planning. There was general acceptance. However, there were deficiencies in extension officers' understanding of planning; communication was faulty in some instances, and there were problems for some officers.
