Accessory suckers (?) in Taenia taeniaeformis from the California bobcat
Mueller, J.F., 1973: Accessory suckers (?) in Taenia taeniaeformis from the California bobcat. Journal of Parasitology 59(3): 562-562
"Pseudosuckers" with thin projecting lips on either side of the necks of specimens thought to be Taenia taeniaeformis, collected in about 1928 from "California lynx" from Mendocino County, California, USA, are reported. Another peculiarity is that a pair of acetabular suckers on the scolex appears to be median in position instead of both pairs lateral.
