In 23 contributions farm managers, farm accountants and economists from Soviet kolkhozy and sovkhozy, together with scientists and advisory workers, deal with opportunities for raising production and productivity through the introduction of new plant varieties, livestock breeds, machines and working methods. In this way farm analysis is emphasized as a method of discovering such reserves and of calculating the effect of their utilization.
