Accumulation and persistence of sulfur35 in peach foliage and fruit sprayed with radiolabeled dimethyl sulfoxide

, : Accumulation and persistence of sulfur35 in peach foliage and fruit sprayed with radiolabeled dimethyl sulfoxide. Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences 243: 237-238

Three sprays of a 2% aqueous solution of labelled DMSO, either alone or with oxytetracycline at 132 p.p.m., were applied at weekly intervals to young peach trees, Shippers Late Red. Previous trials had shown that the control of bacterial spot (Xanthomonas pruni) of peaches by oxytetracycline was enhanced by the addition of the biologically inactive solvent DMSO.
