Accumulation of 137Cs in agricultural plants on leached chernozem

, : Accumulation of 137Cs in agricultural plants on leached chernozem. Agrokhimiya (9): 122-126

137Cs and N90P90K90 (as NH4NO3, superphosphate and KCl) were added to the top layer of soil in bottomless pots buried in the soil. The absolute concentration of 137Cs in the air-dry matter of the grain (or tubers) of wheat, barley, peas, millet, buckwheat, oats, kidney beans, foxtail millet, potatoes and beans increased in the order named, but the number of 137Cs units increased in the order peas, kidney beans, buckwheat, potatoes, wheat, barley, oats, millet, beans, foxtail millet.
