Accumulation of dicofol deposit on peach leaves with time when sprayed with a deVilbiss sprayer

, : Accumulation of dicofol deposit on peach leaves with time when sprayed with a deVilbiss sprayer. Journal of Economic Entomology 68(1): 107-109

When a dicofol 18.5% wettable powder was applied by a deVilbiss sprayer to peach leaves at a concentration of 2 g/litre for periods ranging from 15 to 300 s in laboratory tests in Ontario, the first liquid run-off occurred 10-15 s after the beginning of spraying. The rate of accumulation of dicofol deposit was high during the first 30 s of application, but gradually decreased thereafter and reached zero after 180 s.
