Accumulation of residues of field crops in soil and the nutrient contents of the residues

, : Accumulation of residues of field crops in soil and the nutrient contents of the residues. Agrokhimiya (8): 65-69

In a 3-year experiment on a 10-course rotation without fallow on podzolized chernozem in the south of the central Ukrainian wooded steppe, the dry weight of plant residues in the soil was greatest from winter wheat. Of the row crops, maize left the greatest residue. The N, P and K contents of the residues were greatest in sainfoin.
