529 samples of milk from 65 farms selected at random between Feb. 1968 and July 1969 were analysed by the (i) 'Milko-Tester' and (ii) Gerber methods. Mean fat contents with SD by (i) and (ii) respectively were 3.4920 plus or minus 0.618 and 3.4996 plus or minus 0.612%. The differences were not significant.
