, : Acetaminophen toxicosis in the cat. Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association 166(5): 469-472

Administration by the owner of three 325-mg tablets of the analgesic acetaminophen (paracetamol) to each of two adult Burmese cats was associated with severe illness of both cats and death of one. Administration of one and two 325-mg tablets to each of two experimental adult cats resulted in cyanosis followed by anemia, hemoglobinuria, and icterus.
