Acetylation processes in rats on a diet lacking vitamin B-6 and enriched with linoleic acid

, : Acetylation processes in rats on a diet lacking vitamin B-6 and enriched with linoleic acid. Bollettino della Societa Italiana di Biologia Sperimentale 48(24): 1259-1260

Ten male albino rats of mean weight 94 g were studied while on a normal diet of bread, milk, meat and greens and again after 50 days on an artificial diet lacking vitamin B-6 and rich in linoleic acid. The acetylation of a dose of p-aminobenzoic acid was initially 72.8 plus or minus 0.35% and after depletion 65.8 plus or minus 0.34%.
