Achievement of (GDR) potato warehouses in guaranteeing efficient management of supply

, : Achievement of (GDR) potato warehouses in guaranteeing efficient management of supply. Kooperation 8(8): 352-355

The Leipzig potato co-operative association (KOV) includes six processing, storage and marketing plants which are themselves, as inter-enterprise organizations, partners of the KOV. They undertake the sorting, packing interim storage and delivery of the potatoes from the agricultural member enterprises of the KOV, and sometimes also the peeling for large consumers. Their steady supply has the effect of reducing the storage in cellars and increasing the demand for 5 kg. packs in Leipzig.
