Achievements and prospects in trichinellosis control in Romania

, : Achievements and prospects in trichinellosis control in Romania. Wiadomosci Parazytologiczne 20(1): 141-145

The state of Trichinella spiralis infection in pigs in Rumania is briefly reviewed and its incidence in slaughtered pigs during 1950 to 1972 is discussed. During this period 0.039% of pigs were found infected and levels of infection were greater than average in Moldavia, Oltenia and Transylvania.
