In laboratory tests in Warangal, India, endrin, heptachlor, toxaphene and DDT were applied in sprays at 0.354 and 0.708 mg/cm2 to three types of soil in shallow dishes, and adults of Musca domestica nebulo F. were kept in contact with the treated soil surfaces for varying periods in a special apparatus.
