Chemical weed control practice for rice in Taiwan

, : Chemical weed control practice for rice in Taiwan. PANS 19(4): 514-522

See also WA 22, 2490. The development of chemical weed control practice in Taiwan during the past seven years is briefly summarised. A total of 145 weed species belonging to 41 families were identified in the rice fields of Taiwan, 12 of them major weeds. Yield reduction ranged from 15% to 31%, depending on weed density. Damage to rice also varied with weed species, crop season and the level of soil fertility.
