Codling moth: effects of chilling on longevity and mating of adults

, : Codling moth: effects of chilling on longevity and mating of adults. Journal of Economic Entomology 66(2): 558

Chilling at 2-4 deg C for as long as 24 h effectively immobilised adults of Cydia (Laspeyresia) pomonella (L.) and did not adversely affect their length of life or mating during mass-rearing in laboratory tests in Washington State.
