Ecology and epidemiology of Sclerotinia wilt of white beans in Ontario

, : Ecology and epidemiology of Sclerotinia wilt of white beans in Ontario. Canadian Journal of Plant Science 52(4): 525-533

In field trials in Ontario Sclerotinia wilt caused by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum reduced seed yields of white beans (Phaseolus vulgaris) by 13% when more than 35% of the plants were infected. At the same level of infection, spraying with benomyl increased seed yields compared with those of untreated control plants.
