Milk production was compared between (i) 10 Russian Black Pied, (ii) 10 imported Dutch Black Pied and (iii) 10 Dutch X Russian Black Pied cows in 3rd-5th lactation at a breeding station in Belorussia. Average results for (i)-(iii) respectively included: lactation length, 278, 275, 275 days; milk yield, 4961, 4374, 4480 kg; fat %, 3.64, 3.91, 3.87; protein %, 3.10, 3.15, 3.12; TS %, 12.43, 12.69, 12.80; lactose %, 4.38, 4.50, 4.56.
