Effect of number of weeding on yield and yield components of flax (Linum usitatissimum L.) varieties

, : Effect of number of weeding on yield and yield components of flax (Linum usitatissimum L.) varieties. Iraqi Journal of Agricultural Science 7: 1-9

The effects of 1-3 manual weedings at monthly intervals after sowing on the flax Moroccan 10, Moroccan 50 and Indian 68 were assessed between 1968 and 1971 on clay loam soil at the Abu-Ghraib Experiment Station. Three weedings at monthly intervals gave the highest seed yield, number of capsules/plant and number of seeds/capsule for all cultivars.
