A comparison of libido, number of mounts/ejaculate and various semen characters in 24 bulls raised to 15 mth of age on private farms with the same traits in 40 bulls of similar parentage raised on private farms to 1 mth of age and then transferred to a specialised rearing unit confirmed the importance of proper feeding for optimum reproductive performance.
