In a comparison of diazinon (0.033%), dimethoate (Rogan) (0.037%), gamma -BHC (0.025%), parathion (0.025%), nicotine sulphate (0.1%) and malathion (0.1%), applied three times at a rate of 674 l/ha at each application, for control of Hyadaphis (Lipaphis) erysimi (Kalt.), on mustard at Kanpur, India, in 1968, it was found that dimethoate was the most effective, followed by parathion.
