Effects of water salinity and dietary protein levels on total serum protein and hematocrit of rainbow trout (Salmo gairdneri) fingerlings

, : Effects of water salinity and dietary protein levels on total serum protein and hematocrit of rainbow trout (Salmo gairdneri) fingerlings. Journal of the Fisheries Research Board of Canada 31(6): 1133-1134

For 10 weeks rainbow trout (Salmo gairdneri) fingerlings maintained at 1 and 2% salinity were given diets with protein 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 and 60%. Blood was collected 12 h after the last feed. Water salinity and amount of protein in the diet did not significantly influence total serum protein.
