, : Farmer's lung in animals. Berliner und Munchener Tierarztliche Wochenschrift 88(Heft 9): 163-166

A comparison is made between asthmatic conditions in horses, including pulmonary emphysema, and farmer's lung in man. Pathological findings reported from horses with pulmonary emphysema, which resemble those in farmer's lung in man, include hyaline membrane formation, interstitial inflammation, miliary nodules and bronchiolitis obliterans.
