Improving the chemical properties of organic soils for the cultivation of blueberries

, : Improving the chemical properties of organic soils for the cultivation of blueberries. Vedecke Prace 12: 99-113

In pot experiments with highbush blueberry transitional peat bog soil was a satisfactory medium for growth and on fen soil optimum growth was obtained with a soil pH of 3.2-4.2 KCl There was a yield response on fen and transitional bog soil to P and N, respectively. High moor soil had higher fertilizer requirements.
