O,O-Dimethyl-S--dithiophosphate, a new selective graminicide

, : O,O-Dimethyl-S--dithiophosphate, a new selective graminicide. Mitteilungen aus der Biologischen Bundesanstalt fur Land und Forstwirtschaft Berlin Dahlem 1972; (146): 172-173

O,O-Dimethyl-S-((N-but-1-yn-3-yl-N-phenyl)carbamoylmethyl)phosphorodithioate is a soil-acting herbicide with some contact activity which shows excellent activity against grasses. In glasshouse and field trials a rate of 1.5 kg/ha gave good to very good control of a range of important grasses with satisfactory to good activity against Avena fatua, while such dicotyledons as Amaranthus retroflexus, Chenopodium album, and Portulaca oleracea were also controlled.
