, : Parvitaenia ibisae sp. n. (Cestoidea: Dilepididae), from birds in Florida. Journal of Parasitology 58(6): 1095-1097

Parvitaenia ibisae n.sp. from Eudocimus albus in Florida, USA, is described and illustrated. Immature specimens were found in the "accidental" host Rynchops nigra. The new species is characterized by the 18 to 23 testes, and by the 20 rostellar hooks in 2 circles of 10, those in the anterior circle being 225 to 240 mu long and those in the posterior circle being 170 to 204 mu long.
