Eleven exotoxins of the B. thuringiensis group (varieties cazaubon, thuringiensis, anduze, gelechiae, alesti, bombycis, entomocidus, sotto, plebeja, dendrolimus, galleriae) were isolated and purified, and injected into the thorax of honeybees. After injection summer bees survived from 1.7 days (cazaubon toxin) to 4.0 days (galleriae toxin). Autumn bees were more resistant.Bees injected with technical exotoxin survived for an average of 3.7 days.
