Performance of different Galecron formulations applied to paddy water vs. Tryporyza incertulas in Indonesia

, : Performance of different Galecron formulations applied to paddy water vs. Tryporyza incertulas in Indonesia. Journal of Economic Entomology 67(1): 131-132

The effectiveness of three formulations of Galecron (an emulsion concentrate, 3% granules and a solution concentrate in oil) when added to the water in rice-fields in controlling the stem-boring larvae of tryporyza incertulas (Wlk.) on rice was evaluated in field plots in West Java, Indonesia, during 1971-72. There was no significant difference in results between the three formulations, all being effective.
