, : Photosensitization in dairy cattle associated with the ingestion of Ammi majus. Refuah Veterinarith 31(3): 128-131, 75-76

The outbreak occurred in a herd of 20 Israeli-Friesian cows (kept outside during the day) and 12 heifers (kept in a shed) after consumption of A. majus-contaminated green fodder for about 1 wk. Lesions of exudative inflammation were located on unpigmented skin of the muzzle, teats, udder and vulva; only the cows were clinically affected. Milk yield fell by approx. 20%.
