Protostrongylosis in sheep

, : Protostrongylosis in sheep. Sotsialistlik Pollumajandus 28(13): 597-598

In summer 1972, 66.7% of lambs on a collective farm in the Rakvere district of Estonia were infected by Protostrongylus kochi. Although former investigations revealed occasional Protostrongylus larvae in sheep on several farms, this seems to be the first case of a severe outbreak in Estonia, with some deaths.
