Red-currant and white-currant varieties. Variety trials at research stations 1962-1970

, : Red-currant and white-currant varieties. Variety trials at research stations 1962-1970. Kehittyva Maalalous (11): 3-17

Among nine red currants, Dutch Red gave the highest yield and was the most reliable, with good winterhardiness and resistance to Mycosphaerella ribis. However, it was not suitable for mechanical harvesting, the variety Rondom being the best in this respect. Jonkheer van Tets was the earliest and had the largest fruits.
