Relationship between the health of horses and feeding rations consisting of pelleted concentrates alone. II. Clinicochemical examination of the blood

, : Relationship between the health of horses and feeding rations consisting of pelleted concentrates alone. II. Clinicochemical examination of the blood. Tijdschrift voor Diergeneeskunde 100(3): 138-145

In addition to haematological examination, the alkaline phosphatase, GOT, GPT, LDH, SDH, CPK and gamma-GT activities and the blood glucose, ascorbic acid, total protein, Na, K, Ca, Mg, Cu, phosphate and chloride levels of the blood as well as the pH, the acid-base balance and the serum protein pattern were determined in three horses.
