Role of the level and biological value of protein in metabolic processes and productivity of growing and fattening pigs. 1. Role of different levels of protein of different biological values on retention of nitrogen and productivity of meat pigs

, : Role of the level and biological value of protein in metabolic processes and productivity of growing and fattening pigs. 1. Role of different levels of protein of different biological values on retention of nitrogen and productivity of meat pigs. Zbornik Radova Institut za Stocarstvo Novi Sad 6: 67-97

1. Seven trials were made on 2 farms and with a total of 360 pigs fed individually or in groups of 16 or 20. In all trials protein contents of the diet were adjusted at 40 and 70 kg liveweight and feeding was to 100 kg; the first 3 compared 5 groups with protein starting at 16 to 12 and ending at 14 to 10% and in the last 4 trials 4 groups with protein starting at 16 to 13 and ending at 13 to 10%.
