Studies on evaporative heat loss in rabbits

, : Studies on evaporative heat loss in rabbits. Monatshefte fur Veterinarmedizin 29(Heft 7): 261-266

The evaporative heat loss was measured for 240 rabbits, at 10, 17 and 42 days of age, and correlated with values obtained previously for 80-day-old and 300-day-old rabbits (see V.B. 44, abst. 1305, 1308), and formulae were derived to relate evaporative heat loss or water vapour emission to ambient temperature and to the age of the rabbits.
