Studies on the occurrence of phenolic compounds in healthy and virus-infected vines, and their dependence on various factors

, : Studies on the occurrence of phenolic compounds in healthy and virus-infected vines, and their dependence on various factors. Weinberg und Keller 20(11/12): 515-545

The total phenol content of grapevine leaves increased until mid-June, remained constant until August and increased further from September. There were seasonal changes in the relative amounts of some phenolic substances, and the presence of others could only be demonstrated at certain times of the year. The concentrations of certain compounds varied considerably during the day although total phenols remained fairly constant.
