Studies on the optimal parameters of propagation of Newcastle disease virus (strain KT) in mammalian cell cultures

, : Studies on the optimal parameters of propagation of Newcastle disease virus (strain KT) in mammalian cell cultures. Bulletin of the Veterinary Institute in Pulawy 18(1/2): 6-12

The aim of investigations was to obtain a high concentration of vaccinal strain KT of Newcastle disease virus (NDV) propagated on 4 kinds of mammalian cell cultures: bovine foetus kidney, calf kidney, calf node, and pig kidney. Subjects of examination were: method of infection, dose of inoculum, temperature and time of incubation p.i., and the mode of virus harvesting.
