Immuno- and agar gel electrophoresis studies of the serum proteins of piglets and lambs before and on the 6th, 15th and 30th day after infection with Trichinella spiralis revealed marked rises in the gamma -globulin fraction. This rise was much higher in lambs than in pigs. The alpha - and beta -globulin fractions did not show any marked changes.
