Studies on the pathogenesis of Aleutian disease in mink. V. Immunofluorescence microscopical findings in the kidneys.

, : Studies on the pathogenesis of Aleutian disease in mink. V. Immunofluorescence microscopical findings in the kidneys.. Zentralblatt fur Veterinarmedizin 19B(Heft 2): 144-157

By using fluorescein conjugates of mink IgG antiserum and mink complement (C3) antiserum, deposits of IgG and serum complement were demonstrated in the renal glomeruli of 30 mink with Aleutian disease glomerulonephritis. Periarteritis nodosa was found in five of the mink, killed 3-5 months after infection; similar deposits were demonstrated in the vascular lesions.
