The distribution of swine fever virus in the organs of 47 experimentally infected pigs was measured at intervals between three hrs and seven days after exposure. The virus was sought by immunofluorescence following an accumulation method (AM) in PK-15 monolayers incubated for six days in 5% bovine serum; also by immediate immunofluorescent staining of coverslip cell cultures or cryostat sections.
