Studies on the pathogens of the rice black streak dwarf disease. I. Virus-like particles in the insect vector, the planthopper Laodelphax striatellus

, : Studies on the pathogens of the rice black streak dwarf disease. I. Virus-like particles in the insect vector, the planthopper Laodelphax striatellus. Scientia Sinica 17(2): 273-283

Particles with diam. 710, 480 and 340 A were observed by electron microscopy in the salivary glands, ovarioles and cells of the fat body of viruliferous L. striatellus, which transmits rice black-streaked dwarf virus, as well as in extracts of the salivary glands of the vector.
