Studies on the pathology of female reproductive organs of Indian buffalo. IV. Observations on bursitis and hydrosalpinx cases

, : Studies on the pathology of female reproductive organs of Indian buffalo. IV. Observations on bursitis and hydrosalpinx cases. Indian Journal of Animal Sciences 41(1): 27-32

Chronic bursitis with adhesions was found in 108 of 1725 slaughtered buffaloes (severe in 34 and slight in 74). It was estimated that 2.8% of the unilateral and 12.8% of the bilateral cases were infertile.

In Meloidogyne arenaria-infected peanut fields granular and liquid ethoprop formulations (Mocap 10G, Mocap 6EC) were equally effective in giving yield increases. Neither formulation at any of the rates tested was as effective as DBCP treatment.
