Studies on the performance of five maize hybrids using different fertilizer regimes and sowing dates

, : Studies on the performance of five maize hybrids using different fertilizer regimes and sowing dates. Lucrari Stiintifice, Institutul Agronomic Timisoara, Agronomie 13: 243-257

Five double hybrids and one single hybrid from different maturity groups were sown at two sowing dates with two fertilizer regimes. HSL196, HD311 and HD405 significantly increased their yields after the application of fertilizer, which was more effective after the earlier sowing. HSL196 was the most resistant to grain shrivelling.
